Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Preferred Customer SalesThis website is managed by the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Division's Asset Conservation organization. This organization is charged with the responsibility of selling or otherwise disposing of physical assets -- such as machine tools and materials handling equipment -- no longer needed in the business of the Aeronautics Division. This website is used to display, describe, and offer such assets for sale under the strict U.S. government regulations and/or Lockheed Martin policies governing such sales.
We allow only properly qualified buyers to use this website. It is therefore accessible only after log-in with a User ID and Password issued by us.
Qualifying as a Preferred Customer
We do not consider very small firms or firms inexperienced with the handling of defense industry equipment qualified. Firms we have had successful experience dealing with in the past, and firms whose staff, histories, and demonstrated capabilities we can evaluate as qualified, are considered "Preferred Customers" and receive User IDs and Passwords to enable their use of this website.
If you believe your firm can qualify as a Preferred Customer of Lockheed Martin Aeronautics, please use email to contact us with your request. A brief note describing your company and any past dealings with the Lockheed Martin Corporation is sufficient. Upon receipt of your request, we will contact you promptly using the email address or phone number you submit.
Preferred Customer Services
Once we qualify you, we will ask about the range of equipment categories of greatest interest to you. We will place you on special email notification lists whenever newly surplussed equipment of the desired types becomes available. We will issue you a User ID and Password to gain access to this site at any time, to review and respond to any offerings then displayed for sale.
We will always show our Preferred Customers newly available surplus or used equipment before we place such equipment, if appropriate, on public display for general sale or consign it to sales agents or auctioneers.
Each Preferred Customer receives a "My Info" web page that he can reach by a simple web link next to his name after he logs in. From the My Info page, he may add or change details, such as postal address or second phone, to his registration profile and may track any active email exchanges related to purchasing negotiations (or any other subject) he may have with the LM Aero Asset Conservation staff.
