By Negotiating with Inquirers |
|
| ACCEPT Button Inquiry Email Email received by the venue "Info Email" address when a viewer of an item's full specifications clicks an "ACCEPT Offer" (or similarly captioned) button on that page. These are conditional acceptances of the price offered (as explained on the acceptance submission page in venue-customized text), can include a stated quanity if the number offered is greater than one, and may come from around the world. The contents of this structured email are databased to begin what may be a "dialog" of back and forth negotiations, with each incoming or outgoing communication chained to its antecedents. The "dialog history" of each dealmaking dialog may be referred to when an incoming phone call, email, or other contact is received, to help frame a proper negotiating position; where multiple dialogs are live for the same listing, comparison of the history with each respondent can be especially helpful in framing proper negotiating positions. The dealmaking dialog database is fully searchable. |

| COUNTER-Offer Button Inquiry Email Email received by the venue "Info Email" address when a viewer of an item's full specifications clicks a "COUNTER-Offer" (or similarly captioned) button on that page. These are conditional counter offers with submitted price and quantity (when the number offered is greater than one) against the number and price offered. The formal nature of this offer is explained on the counter-offer submission page in venue-customized text. Such counter-offers may come from around the world. The contents of this structured email are databased to begin a "dealmaking dialog" that may be referred to in framing negotiating positions. The dealmaking dialog database is fully searchable. |

| Send INQUIRY Button Inquiry Email Email received by the venue "Info Email" address when a viewer of an item's full specifications clicks a "Send INQUIRY" (or similarly captioned) button on that page. These are free-form messages sent to the venue administrator. The formal nature of messagesent is explained on the inquiry submission page in venue-customized text. Such inquiries may come from around the world. The contents of this structured email are databased to begin a "dealmaking dialog" that may be referred to in framing negotiating positions. The dealmaking dialog database is fully searchable. |

| Automated Market Stimulation Emails When a new acceptance, counter-offer, or inquiry is received on an item carrying another live dealmaking dialog, a courtesy notice may be sent to the earlier inquirer(s) that a competitor has entered into the dealmaking. This email provides that courtesy notice. When this feature is turned on, a number of days is specified to establish the extent of "recency" used to select recipients of this notice; those with last contact with the venue in fewer than the set number of days will receive the notice; respondents who have been out of touch for longer than that period are not bothered. |

| Notification of AGREEMENT on Terms A venue administrator may negotiate over the web or phone or other means and finally reach an agreement on terms with a buyer (or seller). This email may be framed by the administrator and sent to the respondent to confirm the agreement reached. An AGREEMENT action (with optional sending of an email like that shown) is a first step to creation of a contract (or a redeployment order) that may group together multiple line items. This action is taken when a client has elected to use the Contract Managment facilities of the Dynaprice system. Alternately, a similar "FINALIZE" action may be taken (with optional, similar email sent) to record the terms of a deal when follow-up will not use those Contract facilities but will instead be handled offline. Upon agreement or finalization of a deal, inventory is removed from availability and display, and is accounted for as "under agreement." |

By Receipt of Firm Orders (Fully Priced, Unpriced or Partially-priced) |
|
| New OrderFlag This notice is sent to the "Info Email" of the venue, or to a specific staffmember if one is assigned to the listing (or first of many listings) in the order. The order itself is fully databased as a draft contract ready for further processing. |

| Order Confirmation (Fully-priced) This is the confirming email sent to a buyer who has placed an order and had his final price, including shipping and handling costs, calculated for his prior review. Where orders are placed for a list of items for which shipping costs cannot be determined prior to administrative action, a different email is sent, a "Confirmation of Items Ordered." This carries a venue-customizable message that the remaining costs will be calculated and a final order confirmation sent for his approval. |
